NCAHS uses the barn for training future farmers, but it will also be offered to the community at large for activities ranging from 4-H meetings to adult education programs and community activities. The Norfolk County Agricultural High School Dairy Barn received a $5000 award in recognition of its participation in the Partners in Preservation 2009 initiative.
